Shipping

We offer various form of shipping options to our customers. You are free to choose a shipping method and shipper while placing an order at our online store, www.himalayahandicrafts.com. Your shipping charge will depend on the final destination and shipping option chosen.

All of the orders are shipped worldwide from Kathmandu, Nepal. Shipping charge depends on order size and weight and on final destination.

Since most of our products are handmade, there can be slight variations in volume and weights among seemingly similar shipments and quantities.

Your order will be sent via door to door courier service using most popular shippers and handlers like DHL, Aramex, and Sky Net (DPEX) which will require a signature to receive the goods. Hence please specify a delivery address where someone will be available during normal office hours to sign for the parcel. Shipments usually take 3 to 7 working days to arrive at most destinations. We will provide you with tracking details.

Invoice
The Invoice contains the prices of each single piece and the total value of the container’s goods. Import taxes, VAT, etc. are calculated according to such figures. It is mandatory and the cost is included in the Shipping expenses.

Certificate of Origin :
GSP Certificate of Origin (Form A) from Nepal can be provided, if required.

Insurance:
We strongly recommend insurance on all orders. We are NOT responsible for lost or damaged orders caused by the shipping companies.

Note : Shipping can be organized through various shipping companies. The goods has to be picked by you only from your nearest Sea port and you yourself has to handle the custom procedures.
